1. Yes, yes! Please post all the questions you have over on those boards. Thank you!
2. Quick, someone deal with this please.
Is this REALLY necessary? A simple link or no response would have been SO much the better. I just don't understand (or maybe I do) MayEve

But if I posted my newbie questions to the "newbie" boards, they would also
be newbies and probably wouldn't know the answers.
My, but you old timers are really grouchie!

There are actually plenty of "old timers" who frequent the "newbie"
boards to give advice and helpful hints to those in need.

Not so! Several of the "old-timers" are also members and are great about chiming in with helpful advice, and the moderators are great. It's a great resource and I really enjoy it. Also, many of the "newbie's" themselves have come up with some GREAT ideas and info.

There's a number of experienced, kind-hearted, normal folks on the newbies list.
Fret not - it's a friendly and knowledgeable environment.
*Certain* old-timers are grouchy in *certain* circumstances. Even Mr. Wilson next door has been known to smile. Oddly enough, a collection of letterboxers resembles any other collection of other people - good, bad and indifferent.

I agree! That really comes across as terribly unfriendly. Those of us who
said we'd respond off-list to newcomer questions are, in fact, doing that.
Patience is a virtue, ya know. ;-)

Well, I was trying to be your guardian angel urging you over to the
newboxers board as I've witness the uh, bellicosity that is aimed
toward "newbie" questions around here.
Most (99% in fact) of the letterboxers here, new and old, are more
than willing to help new boxers and answer questions. It's just
that some are less willing to answer the same question multiple
times. That might seem unfair to a new person here who doesn't know
how else to get the answer, but on this board its the way of
things. On the other board, plenty of new and old boxers hang out
to provide answers and none mind repetitive questions. So come on
over, and ask away.
In the meantime, however, check out the following sources of
information ... you'll likely find most of what you seek there:
The LbNA FAQ -- http://www.letterboxing.org/faq/faq.html
Silent Doug's website -- http://www.letterboxing.info/
The "Folder of Useful Information" --
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/letterbox-usa/files/A%20Folder%20of%
20Useful%20Information/
The Newboxers group -- http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newboxers/
Welcome to letterboxing (from all of us ... really!)
